If you want to learn French quick then get a French lover. There, that was quick but all jests aside (and to be honest, that is not a jest) you have to develop a strong need to learn the language. Indeed, anyone that has a French boyfriend or girlfriend will want to learn to speak French and this desire will be strong for obvious reasons. They will have a strong emotional need and commitment to learning the language. Arguably it is possibly the strongest emotional commitment after an individuals children that they can have. Plus it will be the best and most enjoyable language learning method you will find.

Learning French quick requires strong motivation and laser sharp focus. You will get there if you really have the emotional need to, but even babies and children that are supposed to be ideal for learning a new language take a while to get up to speed. No one can learn something over night, much as it would be great. Just be happy that you are making progress as frustration can also set you back as you try to learn a new language.
