Alicante: A Great place to Learn Spanish

Learn to speak Spanish and have a blast in Alicante at the beaches of Costa Blanca. The city is beautiful, not only because of the seemingly endless beaches and wonderful features, but because of the friendly people as well.

If you really are serious about learning the language, strike up a conversation with someone who has been speaking it all their life. This task will be made simpler by the fact that most Spanish people like making friends.

On the top of your list should be a visit to the water front. The ‘Explanada de Espa¤a’ is a fantastic way to start your visit as it has many shops and cafes to choose from. Among the things to look out for are the regular outdoor concerts held along the area. If you are interested in the more historic sites, the narrow ‘El Barro’ streets near the center of the city and the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas are what you are looking for.

The hardest part in enjoying the nightlife in this area is choosing which of the many great tapas bar you should spend it in. Talking in Spanish with the natives over a glass of beer or Canyas will be a fine way to spend the evening.

At the South West part of Alicante, there is a place known as Calle de Italia where you will find what every tourist is looking for, information, assisytance and shopping.
