By choosing Valencia as the place to learn Spanish in, you couldn’t have done a much better job. The locals in Valencia always find tourists interesting – a sight that’s less felt in Barcelona because this city has been frequented by tourists for years already. As such, it’s a good thing to practice your Spanish here because the locals are so friendly, they’d be more than happy to converse with you in their own language. One major threat in honing your Spanish skills in Barcelona is the fact its official language is not Spanish, but Catalan. In Valencia, however, the local language, called Valenciano, is the co-official language of the Valencian State. This means that the city is full of Spanish speakers – this is good for anyone trying to learn the language then.
Valencia has much to offer: a scenic city, a lively atmosphere, and an array of clubs and pubs spilling out onto its cobbled streets. The beach front also features great bars, clubs, and restaurants.
