I have seen and heard so many people express a desire to learn a foreign language, but who abandon their efforts sadly after losing their interest while memorizing written information, having to deal with verb tenses, conjugations and tons of vocabulary building. But to learn Spanish fast is not something one has to be wary of; not if you find the correct method and maintain the right mental attitude.

If you have had exposure to language learning in High School, for instance, then you likely equate it with a lot of sitting in front of your lesson book, remembering verb endings, irregulars as well, being tested on conjugations and tenses, and listening very little to any real spoken Spanish if any at all; not exactly the way you learned English, and not as effective, for sure.

Learning a language is like learning anything else, if you think about it. It’s worth knowing that like learning motor skills, such as skiing or bike riding, your learning will be greatly enhanced by repetition. The more time you spend doing something, the better you get at it. To learn Spanish fast, or any language, is no exception to this rule.

But simply repeating words aloud is not an answer that will serve you well, particularly if you do it without thinking about what you are saying.. You need to be aware of the meaning of what you are voicing and you need to feel some reward, some benefit especially when you are simply learning if it is going to benefit you most, so as to become a natural act, as if it were a fluent one..

Some of the larger education serviceswhich have developed systems that purport to achieve this easy interface between learning and practicing, but not all are exactly equal in their benefits or their ease of use. Berlitz has been in business for many years and has developed over that time from its classical approach, requiring considerable memorization and reading as well as ample conversation, originally in classroom situations.

Its certainly a far cry from the type of training one gets in a typical High School, in so far as verbal expression is concerned and they are clearly more suited for the motivated student, such as the businessperson who needs to get some specifics down for a particular purpose.. They don’t exactly learn Spanish fast, but they can learn to say what they need to say, even if their comprehension may not be too wonderful.

Rosetta Stone has developed a reputation for making learning conversational Spanish easier and quicker, and to some degree they have succeeded in this. The system they use is more natural fucissing on the spoken language as it is learned in childhood. They call this method “Dynamic Immersion.” The basis for this approach appears to be the older and very successful system created by National Dynamics in the 80′s. National Dynamic’s system was, and is known as Speed Spanish! The premise for this system is that language has to be learned the way we did when we learned our native tongue, as children.

National Dynamics has trained tens of thousands of people, students, travelers, business people using this natural technique which iis as interesting as it is effective The principle is to create simple strategies to learn language which don’t require you to do much more than just listen. The first one they will teach you is called the “Magic Circle,” well suited to Spanish in particular, and divided into three parts.

Part 1 concerns itself with learning some Spanish words or phrases. In Part II you learn some simple verbs and Part III  some basic vocabulary words. But the basic technique is in learning the strategies themselves. You practice this by yourself playing their CDs or tapes, answering the questions and visualizing what it is you are saying.. This is the important part, because by internalizing the feeling of what you want to say, you are providing yourself with the same kind of involvement you had when learning English as a child.

All in all, wanting to learn Spanish fast is a good start to becoming bi-lingual, but the bottom line is how you approach your learning If you can keep it exciting, interesting, and productive, you will maintain your motivation and progress rapidly towards your goal! But you must stay engaged.

A proven program like Speed Spanish or Dynamic Immersion may well provide you with the kind of approach to achieve fluency.  These methods are effective and can help you to produce results which will truly delight you. All you have to do is check these programs out and see what they offer, what they cost, etc. and go with what serves your needs the best. Just remember to be honest with yourself about what your desired goal in learning Spanish is.

In any case, if you want to learn Spanish fast, one of these methods will likely be perfect for you.
